My grandma (who is the best grandma EVAR) gave my little family a digital camera for Christmas since the old camera was on the fritz more often than not. Not having a reliable digital camera has been annoying because you can’t just be all click happy with film. You gotta frame the picture, think about lighting, and hope for the best instead of just clicking randomly and deleting later.
So in honour of the click, I present to you some Christmas Crafts!

Some felt* cupcakes I made for my god-daughter and neices. I am totally in love with these little things. I’m easily amused.

They look tasty enough to eat, yeah!?

Callum thinks so, too!

Add in some chocolate chip cookies and you’ve got yourself a tea party!
(*and because I’m all thrifty and recycle-y, the brown felt is thrifted felt. heh.)
Grandma’s are the greatest, aren’t they? Looks like she got you the perfect gift–especially with one getting-bigger-by-the-minute rugrat and number two soon to appear. Love your cupcakes and cookies (and the calorie count is just right).
They look great. I’m going to steal your idea for Kyle’s god-daughter. She likes to pretend cook and bake. Are the buttons okay for a 3 year old or should I leave those off? Did you use a sewing machine or is it easier by sewn by hand?
Finally, something entertaining for the 1 year old!! Those are very, very cute. Just hope they don’t eat them
Callum sure looks pleased!!
I think that Vegas and Chief might appreciate those little goodies too!
I’d leave them off for a three year old, just in case the parents are anal. You can instead cut out the shapes with felt.
Everything was hand sewn and it was super easy. I’ll send you the link to the cupcake tuturial in an email. There is cakes, pies, cookies, you name it. They’re all so flippin’ adorable! I am also giving them a little apron, wooden spoons and spatulas (dollar store) and measuring cup. Totally cute. You could even go to a thrift store and get used muffin tins etc.
Loved the picture of Callum Your kid baking is just too cute!!!!!
Eventhough I praised your crafty goodness on the phone, I know how much you love the blog comments. Julia is going to totally eat them up…figuratively speaking. LOVE THEM! and Callum TOO! so damn CUTE!!!
