One good thing about complaining about something Callum related on my blog is that within a couple of days whatever I was waxing poetic on seems to rectify itself magically without any real effort on my part. This is a good thing because I am lazy and prefer not to put in all that much effort if I can help it
. We’re back to the Callum I knew before Christmas and its very enjoyable for me. He spent the day with my Grandma and Uncle Rick while I was on a volunteer retreat and was, apparently, really good all day. He cried for 5 minutes when I left and quickly got over it. yay! Of course, he was very needy when I got back, but that’s ok, a little snuggling was most certainly in order.
I gotta say that woman who work and also take care of their kids? Whoa. You’re way better women than I am because I’m WIPED. The thought of cooking dinner tonight was completely out of the question, we ordered pizza and just putting the dishes in the dishwasher seemed like a momentous task. And all I did was sit around a table and talk all day, its not like I was talking to clients or clearing tables!
You seem to forget my friend that you are very pregnant. Plus even if you weren’t on your feet all day I’m sure you were using your head. Give your self a break, it’s ok to be tired.
*hugs*
I had forgotten how exhausting the last trimester was. Never doing it again, my friend. Never again!
.
I do have a very clean pantry, though. Its bringing me a lot of joy. I stand and look at it just because. Guess I’m nesting
I have a pantry that could use some work!! Interested? I would babysit!!
Ya, you be pregnant–I remember having two naps a day at that point. Working cannot possibly be as bad right? (I mean right? because I’m going back to work next Monday… )
