Some time ago I mentioned that I was knitting up a sweater from an old knitting book that was once my Mom’s. Voila, the finished project!

The pattern is from Patons Baby Book No 166 (and cost my Mom $0.75 at the time!) and is knit with Bernat Baby Coordinates that I swiped from my Mom’s stash about, oh, 10 years ago. Its not a wool that I’d recommend, but I’m using my stash, or in this case, stolen wool, like a good little knitter).
She will be very cozy in her own little coat, knit by her Mama’s own hand! It really looks lovely. Congrats. Love
I’m hoping that once its on her, the dress part of the coat will sit right… its so hard to tell when its just laying flat. Did you ever make this coat?
And I thought I bought enough ribbon for the wrists and tie, but only had enough for the tie, so I’m just going to leave the wrists.
You should send me the pics of the sweaters you’ve knit!
That is adorable!! Can’t wait to see in on someone!
good job bamber!
I can take the pictures, but the computer is now giving me grief about loading from the camera memory card to the computer. What next, I wonder!?
That’s an adorable little coat!
You still need to take a picture of Callum’s finished sweater for me so I can post it myself.
so cute!!! I love it!!!
It’s gorgeous. She’ll be a little fashionista!
Gorgeous!
Hey is that a new kitchen table?
Its new to me! Caroline gave it to me. Its awesome – it has a leaf and SIX chairs. SIX! After years of only have two chairs this is sheer luxury.
Awww, that is so cute. Awesome job!
