Hello New America

…and just when you’re ready to write off the majority of Americans they surprise you!
The world is impressed. (well, ok, I’m not exactly in a position to say the “world” but I’m impressed!). It’s going to be interesting to see the change. Let’s hope there’s change, anyway.

   Definitely a better world to be parenting in, now.
   Why do I get the feeling that the results of this election will affect our lives more than the results of the Canadian election?? (Kind of sad, that…)

   Some elections do seem more important than others. We were soooo going in the wrong direction and Barack gave us back the belief that we could influence our gov’t and change our future. I still have the “Yes We Can” on my car. It lifts my spirits every time I see it! I hope the change benefits us all (fingers crossed).
