I am so jealous of your guys’ constant gallivanting about! I haven’t been ANYWHERE since Jack was born!!!! Part of that is because he wouldn’t sit in his car seat for more than an hour or two to get anywhere. Haha!
That photo of Steve and Callum is sooooooooooo cute!!!! What is the backpack that you’re talking about? We had to give up the front-wearing Snugli because it kills our backs, and it only supports up to 25 lbs. A backpack might be a cool alternative!

Just ask around, old-timers would know! I think the sea lions have their favorite spots so I’m betting they have spots on the mainland, too. I think they like those log berm things, because they hang out on them in Nanoose too. These dudes are hanging out at Fanny Bay (on the ocean-side highway between Comox and Qualicum Beach). Someone told my Mom they were there, so we went looking for them, and they were ridiculously easy to spot being huge and loud.
