makin' the bread
serious business, makin' the bread
After Claire goes down for her nap Callum always asks me “What we gonna make today Mama?”. Lately we’ve been making food because, well, I’m pregnant and in the third trimester and that’s just what pregnant women do. Pregnant women in the third trimester stock freezers. And at least once a week we make bread which was on the agenda for today (plus we made soup and the start of spanikopitas for the freezer because I’M PREGNANT AND LOSING MY MIND and now can’t move my neck. I’m not sure how the two are related but they are).

hey guess what most pregnant women in the third trimester do not stock their freezers and make bread every week……just you. Take a nap crazy woman!!!
Callum does not nap. Not only does he not nap, he does not stop talking making napping basically impossible… otherwise, trust me, I’d take a nap!
Wish we could bottle kid-energy and sell it!

I agree with Michelle, it’s just you! I think it’s partly your fault that he does not nap anymore…you make Claire’s nap time far too entertaining for him to want to sleep through it.
But I LOVE the look of concentration on his face…it’s completely focused on the task at hand! <3
see trhat’s where you and I or should I say your kids and my kids differ. Them not napping has never stopped me from napping…does this make me a bad parent? Maybe just a little bit of LQP….
if I can’t actually sleep-sleep, it just pisses me off. I can’t sleep through the chattering and moving and goings-on. And he’s still too young to really leave fully unattended (although he’s unattended a lot of the time, I’ve got my ears on him
).
